Mahogany cabin cruiser from the Berlin shipyard - TOP rarity

Dolphin II" cabin cruiser

The "Dolphin II" is a piece of living Berlin boating history. It was probably one of the last boats to be built at the VEB-Yachtwerft Berlin before reunification. Unfortunately, there are no longer any traceable records or documentation. It is therefore all the better that the "Dolphin II" was completely restored by 2023. The interior is in its original condition and has been completely refurbished. The upholstery including the covers and the curtains were made in 2024. The hull was completely sanded, resealed and painted. The underwater hull was rebuilt. The upper deck was completely sanded, sealed and painted. The windows were replaced with laminated glass and a bathing platform was added at the stern. The custom-made tarpaulin in beige is made from 2024 and perfectly matches the warm wood tone of the highly polished mahogany. All work was demonstrably carried out by the relevant trades and in the shipyard. As a result, a great rarity in very good condition that brings charm, character and a little nostalgia to the waterway.

The underwater hull and the hull will be refitted and polished in April 2025. A stress crack on the starboard side below the bow window will be repaired and resealed. Transport with a road trailer is no problem with a special permit and can be organized if required.
