The Norwegian manufacturer Skilsö still does not offer a wide range of boats in different classes, but concentrates on the essentials - high-quality and affordable boats. The best-selling Skilsö 23, which is still ubiquitous in Scandinavia today, is proof that the simple is usually the most durable. Frugal, robust and extremely seaworthy are the outstanding characteristics of this Norwegian rough-water square-rigged classic.

The "Kleine Krabbe" was taken over by the current owners in 2016. Initially, in addition to the generator, the toilet, washbasin, refrigerator and much more were modernized and replaced. Most recently, in 2022, the entire underwater hull was rebuilt and a new cake stand was made. The invoices are available. The engine received a final service including oils and filters. Due to personal circumstances, the hobby could not be continued. The "Kleine Krabbe" stood dry in a hall until 2024 and since 2024 with the owner under the winter tarpaulin. Despite being over 40 years old, the Skilsö 23 is 3rd hand with the current owner and is in a predominantly good original condition. The wood paneling and the mahogany interior are in good condition for their age. The ceiling paneling in the wet room needs to be re-glued. The deck superstructure is stable and there are no signs of major damage to the GRP.
