This aluminum/steel yacht STIC 36 designed by Horst Stichnoth with a variable draught of 1.10 / 2.10 m is in a technically perfect and well-maintained condition.
The refit was completed in September 2024 and included the following work:
- All wooden parts in the cockpit and exterior were stripped, sanded and painted six coats with Ovatrol D1 / D2.
- The old paint was removed from the deck and superstructure and repainted with Wilckens two-component paint.
- The underwater hull was sanded and a new coat of antifouling was applied.
Thanks to the lifting keel, it sails just as reliably on open water (North Sea/Baltic Sea) as it does on inland waters (Wannsee, Müritz) and can easily fall dry. Your sailing area is thus significantly extended! The yacht is equipped with all the necessary comforts, including a spacious and very cozy saloon with Dickinson diesel stove, two aft berths that are ideal for sleeping on longer sea passages, a new Raymarine autopilot and hull insulation, making her ideal for longer voyages. This STIC 36 is now ready for a new adventure!
The hull is made of shipbuilding steel, while the deck, superstructure and cockpit are made of aluminum. This ensures maximum stability and strength at an acceptable weight. Naturally, both materials are galvanically separated with an insulating layer. The interior is largely made of mahogany wood. There are 3 diesel tanks with a total volume of approx. 500 liters on board. The headroom below deck is approx. 1.95 m. A total of 6/5 berths - three fixed berths, two of which are in the bow area and another in the dog bunk, as well as two berths in the (converted) seating area - can also accommodate larger crews. To the left of the companionway on the port side is a diesel stove, next to which is a galley with a three-burner gas hob and a double sink. On the starboard side there is a very comfortable seating area with a lowerable saloon table. Between the bow berth and the saloon area is a separate toilet room with manual toilet (with holding tank), washbasin and mirror. In front of the bow berth there are two closets with plenty of storage space. A current survey is available!
