Since the takeover by the current owner at the end of 2019, the "Liberty" has been technically modernized and put in good condition. In addition to the repair/overhaul of the sails, the lazybag and sprayhood have been completely renewed. The anti-slip coating is new and the saildrive has been completely overhauled. Technically, a new chart plotter and a Raymarine self-steering system have been retrofitted. A new 2000 watt converter now provides sufficient power even when underway and a second diesel tank ensures sufficient range should the wind not blow. All work has been carried out by specialist companies and can be documented.
