The „Bellatrix“ already has a long, eventful history behind it. The current owner acquired the ship second-hand back in 1998. Until it was sold in 2012, the Fantasi 31 was continuously maintained and technically upgraded. After a short stay in the Mediterranean, the „Bellatrix“ was bought back by the current owner in 2017 and brought back to Germany by truck.
The Fantasi 31 underwent a complete refit with a high level of expertise, perseverance and a great deal of passion before it was launched in July 2024. Inside and out, every strip of the boat was touched, windows replaced, damage repaired, sanded, painted and overhauled. Finally, the engine was dismantled, the head planned, valves refitted and all seals replaced. All attachments, pipes and cables were cleaned, renewed or replaced.
The navigation system has also been upgraded. The Fantasi 31 now has new displays and instruments for log, perpendicular and wind as well as a new self-steering system.
Completely refurbished, technically overhauled and equipped to spend longer periods on the water - the „Bellatrix“ is ready to continue writing her story.
