The Cruisers Yachts 3270 Esprit „Esther“ has been almost completely rebuilt since 2015. Starting with the hull and the deck superstructure, which were reinforced from the inside with GRP mats and the West system. The saloon was completely insulated. The counter plates for the new fittings were laminated in and the seacocks were replaced with stainless steel valves. The exterior of the hull was also reworked with West-System epoxy. The hull was coated in two colors
The entire saloon was converted and rebuilt. The partition wall to the forward cabin has been removed. This makes the saloon appear much brighter and larger. A new kitchenette has been fitted and the seating area opposite has been converted into a high-quality, Alcantara-covered feel-good area with an electrically retractable table. The new sleeping area in the bow has a very spacious and open feel thanks to the open design. The bed can also be raised electrically for easy access to the large storage space. Wherever possible, all new fittings have been laminated and thus firmly attached to the hull. This gives the boat additional rigidity, which is not only good for driving pleasure but also for comfort as nothing can warp or creak in the harbor.
Technically, nothing is reminiscent of the charm of the Cruisers Yachts 3270 Esprit of the 80s. The entire electrical system has been overhauled. All electrical installations are up to date and correspond to the current standard of modern yachts. All cables and lines have been laid in a traceable manner. The technical comfort has also been upgraded. In addition to the new refrigerator, the galley has a ceramic hob, a stainless steel sink with hot water and an oven. In the washroom, the old bowl was replaced with a new Dometic Masterflush toilet. All the pipes were also replaced at the same time. The auxiliary heater and the water heater, both from Webasto, are also new.
The centerpieces of the Cruiser Yachts 3270 Esprit are undoubtedly the two completely rebuilt Volvo Penta KAD44 P-C EDC. Both engines, including all add-on parts, have been overhauled from the ground up. A power increase of the engines to 367 hp each catapults the Cruisers Yachts to over 30 knots in just a few moments. In order to get this power safely to the optimized propellers, both gearboxes and the shaft system were reinforced. The electronic control of the engines allows the best handling, direct response and perfect driving behavior.
