For sale is our well-maintained Saga 26 HT from 2003, first-hand with only 620 operating hours. This rare example impresses with its high-quality Scandinavian workmanship, excellent driving characteristics and an exceptionally practical layout. Thanks to the rare Z-drive, the Saga is not only economical on the road, but also glides smoothly when required. The position of the engine under the rear bench seat creates a particularly large storage space amidships, which offers real added value when traveling and on longer trips.
The boat has only been operated in fresh water and has never been used in salt water. All maintenance has been carried out regularly and is fully documented. The Saga is powered by a Volvo Penta KAD32 diesel with 170 hp and Volvo DP Z-drive. The semi-glider runs quietly, reliably and extremely economically with an average consumption of around 2.5 liters per hour. The length is approx. 8 meters with a width of approx. 2.75 meters.
The equipment includes an electric anchor winch with anchor and chain, a bow thruster, electric trim tabs, a diesel heater, a Wallas diesel stove, refrigerator, shore connection and a cold and hot water system, whereby the hot water can also be generated via the engine. The boat also has an indoor and outdoor shower and a separate toilet room with sea toilet and holding tank. An ST40 echo sounder, a VHF radio and a Raymarine e7 navigation device including SeaTalk converter are installed for navigation and communication.
The Saga is also equipped with a 90-WP solar system. The batteries consist of two 110 Ah batteries from 2020 and one 90 Ah battery from 2024. Two bilge pumps, manual and electric, are also present. The boat also comes with a complete set of Volvo workshop manuals and various spare and wear parts such as impellers, bellows and a new replacement propeller for the DP drive. Lines, fenders and stern anchor are also included.
The tarpaulin or harbor cover and additional cushions for the cockpit round off the very well-kept overall impression. A matching road trailer from Steinbacher with a 3.5-ton tandem axle can be purchased as an option. Tires and tandem axle were renewed in 2023.
