Day trip or weekend - the Four Winns 248 Vista makes no difference. While most boats of this length end up at the jetty after the afternoon, this one invites you to stay: V-berth in the bow, second berth under the cockpit, cabin with galley and cherry woodwork. Those who leave on Friday evening return on Sunday - and in between have used the boat for what it was built.
The Volvo Penta 5.0 GXi with 280 hp via Stern Drive brings the hull reliably to plane. With a tank capacity of 265 liters, one filling is enough for extended tours without having to plan routes according to fuel stations. The GRP gives the hull a longevity that cannot be taken for granted in this class - well-maintained gelcoat, solid substance.
Comfortable space for up to eight people on board: U-shaped seating area aft, wide swim platform, double-width steering position. The 248 Vista is not a narrow boat - at 7.98 m long and 2.55 m wide, it feels like a 28-foot boat, but pays demurrage for a 26-footer.
In short: a well-maintained cuddy cruiser with real overnight capacity, proven drive and more space than the length promises. There are hardly any comparable models currently available on the market.
