The Swift Trawler is Beneteau's multi-award-winning cruising yacht. Modern design, remarkable seaworthiness and a record-breaking range make the Swift Trawler a comfortable and safe ocean-going cruising boat.
Despite its manageable length of around 10 meters, the "Metal Queen" offers a high degree of living comfort and space. Fully equipped, it offers everything for longer and extended trips. The saloon is accessed via the double sliding door at the rear. The almost completely glazed saloon with galley and steering position allows plenty of light into the interior. The seating area can be quickly and easily converted into a large double bed. Opposite is the galley, which leaves little to be desired with its oven, two-burner gas hob, large sink and large refrigerator with ice compartment. There is plenty of storage space in the cupboards and drawers. The steering bench is extremely comfortable and also suitable for longer trips. There is also a direct exit to the gangway.
Further to the bow, to starboard, is the spacious wet room with electric WC and washbasin. Opposite is the spacious shower. Behind the saloon doors in the bow is the owner's cabin with a large French bed. High cupboards, many compartments and storage spaces offer room for everything from swimwear to evening wear.
The generously dimensioned flybridge can also be accessed via the stern using a folding ladder. The lounge-like seating area with rotating table invites you to spend cozy hours with an unobstructed all-round view. The aft section offers space for several sun loungers for sunbathing. The black railing protects you from the wind and prying eyes, while the bimini protects you from too much sun. You can also enjoy sunbathing, including the breeze, on the large bow cushion.
An absolute highlight is the opening of the rear doors with integrated seats to the extended bathing platform. This gives you an incredible amount of space and direct access to the water. When it gets uncomfortable, the aft window cover protects against wind and weather. The diesel heater provides cozy warmth and comfort.
With the Volvo Penta D6 370, the "Metal Queen" is very well motorized. Planing speed is achieved quickly thanks to the trim tabs. However, you can also go ahead calmly, the shaft system ensures good directional stability. Bow and stern thrusters ensure perfect maneuvering even in the tightest conditions. The steering position is tidy, all switches are easy to reach and the displays are easy to read. The Raymarine chart plotter features up-to-date chart navigation, fishfinder and depth gauge. The VHF radio and AIS are also from Raymarine. All devices can be found as daughter devices on the Fly. The electric anchor winch has a wired remote control. The voltage converter provides 1500 watts of power while underway. In port, the shore power connection provides sufficient power. The two LED televisions show the right program at all times thanks to the satellite antenna and the Fusion entertainment system provides the right sound.
Safety is a top priority with the Swift Trawler. The starboard side gangway is wide and has a high, closed side wall. This height is extended to the bow with the help of the railing and back to the stern on the port side. The fly is closed by a sturdy railing and the access hatch can be closed with a sturdy flap. The bathing platform is accessed via two stern doors that can be firmly locked in the floor. The large glass fronts guarantee good all-round visibility when cruising. In an emergency, there is an automatic fire extinguishing system in the engine compartment.
