A one-off made of mahogany - built for sailors who want to feel every detail. The Galaxy Sport is not a series-produced yacht, but a handcrafted one-off from the Bootsbauhandwerk Tutzing shipyard, designed by Carpe Diem Yachtdesign. This is not about standard solutions, but about material, precision and the feeling at the helm.
The hull is made of mahogany strip construction, epoxy-coated four times and sealed eight times with 2K varnish - visible, tangible, durable. The rig is consistently designed for performance: Carbon fiber mast and boom, Battcar system and Dyneema halyards ensure direct response. The mainsail and self-tacking jib together provide 45 square meters of sail area, with a gennaker up to 100 square meters are possible - pressure can be called up at any time.
The electric drive from Kreutler with lithium-ion technology works silently and requires little maintenance. In combination with the Saildrive, the result is a setup that supports rather than disrupts. The lifting keel significantly extends the range of use: from 1.65 m to 0.8 m draught - trailerable and flexible in the choice of area. The design has also been thought through further: the foredeck, double floor and side tanks are sealed off - safety is part of the design, not an afterthought.
In short:
A handcrafted performance yacht made of mahogany with a carbon rig, electric drive and lifting keel - unique on the market and built for sailors who are looking for more than standard.
