Out fishing early in the morning - and not having to go ashore again afterwards. This is exactly what the RIO 800 Cabin Fish was built for.
At the front is an open cockpit with space for rods, equipment and movement when drilling. Behind it is an enclosed steering position with all-round visibility, below which is a sleeping cabin with double berth, galley and separate washroom. The combination of fishing boat and weekend cabin works here not only on paper, but also in practice: on the water during the day, stay on board in the evening and set off again in the morning.
The RIO 800 Cabin Fish is powered by a Volvo Penta AD41D with 200 hp and sterndrive - a configuration that is particularly popular in this class due to its smooth running, economy and durability. Engine, sterndrive and injection pump were completely overhauled in June 2023 - engine removed, dismantled, turbo, exhaust system and power steering replaced. Technical acceptance October 2024, valid for another five years. Garmin chart plotter with echo sounder and fish finder are already on board - no retrofitting required at the start of the season.
The boat is in well-maintained condition. Built in 1997 - but the key parts were completely renewed in 2023. CE category B also allows offshore use, which significantly extends the operating radius for Adriatic areas around the Pakoštane location.
The decisive factor here is less the sheer size than the usage concept: enough space to fish, enough comfort to stay. It is precisely this combination that many smaller cabin boats lack.
In short: a RIO 800 Cabin Fish with a completely overhauled drive (2023), up-to-date technical approval and real weekend suitability - for all those who don't want to turn around after a few hours on the water.
